Hello Artsytracy,

Thanks for posting. If we understand correctly, you have a question about uninstalling GarageBand on your Mac.

You can uninstall an app like GarageBand just by dragging it from Finder > Applications to your Trash. That's going to the best way to remove most apps on your Mac: How to delete apps on your Mac

Take care.

Before you remove the GarageBand.app from the Applications folder, you may want to remove the sound Library and the Loops as well. The Sound Library and the Loops and the Music Lessons and your finished projects may need quite a lot of storage.

You will see, how much storage is used for these files, if you go to the -menu > About This Mac and click the Storage tab, then "Manage". Look for the storage used by "Music Creation" or "GarageBand". You can delete these items right from the Manage panel by selecting them there and clicking "Delete".

For example:

On this Mac I have not yet used GarageBand and did not install any content, but on my other Mac the "Music Creation" is adding up to to 80GB. So you should check, if the sounds and loops need uninstalling as well. If you are using Logic Pro X or MainStage in addition to GarageBand, the Loops and Sounds are shared, and you may want to keep them installed for your other Music Creation applications. That is why deleting the application will leave the sound library and loop library behind.

You do not need to use the uninstaller tool, you linked from your post. I have not tested it, if it is safe, but for GarageBand the tools provided by MacOS X should suffice.
