Second hand iPhone purchase

Hi there,

Ive seen an iPhone XS that I wanted to purchase for my 11 year old at a really reasonable price second hand and in great condition! Only issue is the seller is saying that she can’t remember her iCloud password so it’s iCloud locked?

is there a relatively easy way to get around this and resetting it so we can use the phone pretty much straight away or is it a difficult thing to do?

sorry for the silly question I’m just not that up to date with iPhone technology lol

Save your money.

Activation Lock is a theft deterrent feature with no bypass or workaround.

Without the owner's authorisation, no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.
