💡 Did you know?

General and ongoing cleaning can help you maintain your AirPods or AirPods Pro.

Right airpod pro makes high pitch sound when touched (with ANC or transparency on)

This started happening a few days ago. My right airpod pro is making a loud high pitch sound when touched wether in or out of my ear and ANC or transparency is activated. Resetting and pairing again don't help. Using a different device doesn't help either.

Only turning ANC or transparency off will stop that high pitch sound when my right airpod pro is touched.

I've also noted that the fit test now tells me that both my airpods aren't well adjusted or that different tips should be tried. I did that test a couple of times in the first days and the large tips were giving me perfect, audible results. Now, tips of any size won't pass the test for one ear or the other.

Firmware is 2D27. I've tested the AirPods with an iPhone, an iPad and an iMac.

Any idea? A trip to the Apple Store, maybe?
