How do I Trust PC with broken screen and phantom touches?
My brother recently had an incident that ended with him breaking his iPhone (6-8, not sure). The battery still works and powers on, however the screen is so cracked as well as the back of the case.
I am trying to help him get several photos of his cat that he has had for several years and is getting really old. We found him as a neighborhood stray who used to attack our other cats, and we tamed him, and my brother basically claimed him as his own. He loves that cat and I want nothing more than to get these photos back for him since he did not keep any sort of backup.
Sorry for the tangent, but I just really would like to retrieve these for him. However, the screen is so cracked that I cannot get to the "Trust this computer" prompt. I have a PC. I have enabled voiceover and have the passcode, but the screen is so smashed into the phone that Siri starts reading random things that I believe may be relating to what is displayed on the screen. I may upload a video if anyone thinks this may be saveable.
I just want to know if the keyboard trick will work at all despite the screen being so busted to the point where the screen will scroll randomly, and when I speak to Siri she randomly cuts me off and starts reading off whatever she wants.
If the keyboard trick works, I would just like to know. I would also appreciate any tips such as how many times I will have to move directional keys as I obviously cannot see where the cursor would go.
