Can't import CD with Apple lossless

All of a sudden I can't import CD's with the Apple Lossless. I can import using other settings (MP3, WAV...). It gives me an error -54. There are quite a few recipes for a fix (Basically all the same), when I google it. They however all seem to solve problems related to syncing. My error only relates to the Apple Lossless import.

When looking at the Console I can see the following entry's:

error 14:20:55.483737+0200 Music Assert failure: ("sdkError == ((0x0))")

error 14:20:55.523760+0200 Music Assertion failure: err == (-54)

error 14:20:55.523811+0200 Music Assertion failure: err == (-54)

error 14:20:55.523866+0200 Music Assertion failure: err == (-54)

error 14:20:55.523910+0200 Music Assertion failure: err == (-54)

Can someone help me solve this issue?

After working to resolve this issue, for some time now.

I can say that the issue was with the use of SMB1 on my NAS. It need's to be at least SMB2 to import Apple Lossless. I am very perplexed by this, as I was able to import using other plugins/codecs (MP3, WAV...).
