Almost new iPhone SE with battery issues

I have a refurbished iPhone SE I bought from Apple in the late Spring of 2019--so it's just past the one year warranty. The battery has gotten progressively worse recently, having to charge multiple times a day, so I probably need to get it replaced.

My question is about authorized service/Apple parts vs. non authorized service and probably not Apple parts. I have no warranty to void, so I'm wondering if you have done a battery swap at one of the shops that fix cell phones and had good success. I'm in a difficult time financially and need to save where I can, unless it's foolish to do so.

Thanks for your experience and advice!

Any Nearby Retailers::

Taking mine to a local retailer was no more that 15 USD for battery replacement - it's a 6 years old iPhone. After 4 years, I had its battery replaced for 15 USD at a local retailer - Its been great for the last 2 years. Point being - take it to a retailer - particularly one that has good rating for replacements.
