i need to delete all the content on my iphone X and i cant because it got wet and will not turn on

My iphone X fell in the pool. I need to delete all contents from my Iphone before I send it back. I cant because it does not turn on


What shoul i do????

I would suggest following the instructions given by Apple in this article:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351 (If you no longer have your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch)


1) In Find My - Erase your device

2) Change your Apple ID password

3) Remove your device from your trusted device


This will prevent from accessing the data even if someone will have access to the device.
