I'm using macBook Pro 2012 and I want to install macOs catalina update. but when I want to download that from app store, it's not completing download It stops at 7GB one time and one time at 7.9 GB. When I again start downloading the it starts from start.

First of all remove/delete the install-catalina file from your Applications folder.
Then empty the Trashbin.
Then restart.
Now investigate whether you really want Catalina or not.
If you really want it, download again and install.
