Icloud email sign-in

Recently I accidentally deleted the email app and I downloaded it again but now I’m trying to sign in with the address I was using before I deleted the app. Now whenever I try to do that, it says, “This iCloud account has already been added to your iPad.” I cannot find a way to log in again so I would appreciate it very much if somebody answered.
