Organize photos chronologically

I had just created a new album in my iphone and accidentally added the photos from newest to oldest. Since I wanted that reversed, I plugged my phone into my pc, opened iCloud, and tried to reverse the album. When I opened iCloud, the photos suddenly became shuffled. I have iCloud photo library on, and I'm worried that turning it off will delete some of my photos. I can't see any place in iCloud where I can set an album to arrange chronologically, from oldest taken to newest taken. Does anyone know how to do this? I have a HP Spectre computer and an iPhone 11 on the newest ios.

Hello Ivangalien,

We understand that you want to know if there is a button to arrange photos in chronological order in iCloud. We're happy to provide some information about that to you!

Here is a way you can arrange them on your iPhone.

"Rename, rearrange, and delete existing albums

  1. Tap the Albums tab, then tap See All.
  2. Tap Edit, then do any of the following:
    • Rename: Tap the album name, then enter a new name.
    • Rearrange: Touch and hold the album’s thumbnail, then drag it to a new location.
    • Delete: Tap .
  1. Tap Done."
