Ipad pro 12.9 3rd gen overheating and restarting unexpectedly

My 2018 ipad pro sometimes restarts without any warning and gets extremely hot but only on the left hand side. Is this common and is there any known fix? I've already restored factory settings and that doesn't help.

iPad Pro 2020 shuts down whenever plugged in A few weeks ago I noticed my iPad Pro was “dead”. I thought it had gone flat, but after charging overnight and checking the charging cable, it had completely shut down. The only thing that fixes it is a hard reset by pressing the two side buttons and then the Home button. I’ve noticed that this has begun to happen more frequently, and always after it’s charged or plugged in. The iPad never feels hot and is always charged on a desk. Any ideas why this keeps happening? The iPad is fairly new still and only used for work.

Ipad 2018 becomes very hot out of SUDDEN!!! My iPad 2018 is still using iOS 13,i only bought this 3yrs ago i did not update it at all, and also not running any app this morning, the battery become 1%,previously should be 50%. Out of no where, the battery drained, and the iPad becomes very hot there are a few weird behaviour since this morning: 1.i didn't run any app at all, and it is still very hot now,, why is it so?? 2.when i press the power button, the screen is only lighted for 1 second and it dimmed again 3.when i press power button together with home button for 10 second, the screen will keep on flickering for a few second then it dimmed again Why out of sudden, it has become like that???
