iCloud

When I save files on my MacBook to the iCloud they won't sync to the iCloud app on my iPhone. This wasn't always the case and now it's driving me nuts that I can't access my files using iCloud. I've tried syncing. I've tried software updates. I've tried switching the backup toggles on and off. I really don't know why it has stopped working. Please help

Files missing from certain folders in my icloud backup as well as my macBook. Some of the folders backed up to my icloud drive are now empty both on multiple computers as well as in the icloud. Cant tell how or why this happened but I need to get these files back. From reading this forum this seemed to have happened to others also and i have seen comments by people who managed to get their files back after similar problems but not clear how they did it.

It seems some of my files are only on iCloud. How do I keep all on local HD? Hi, For some reason I have to go to iCloud Drive to get many files; takes time to access them. I must have made some wrong choices in setting things up. I want to be independent of the 'cloud' and use it only for backup, if at all. How do I make sure all the files now on iCloud reside on my Mac (Monterey) hard drive? Thanks!

iCloud Drive download icon won't go away I just started using iCloud Drive on my M1 Mac (Ventura) and it seems to work great, except the cloud icon with the down arrow indicating that my files are only in the cloud will not go away. All of my files are downloaded - when I click the cloud icon, nothing happens. Ideas?

What "iCloud app" are you referring to on your iPhone?
