Live wallpaper for 2nd Generation iPhone SE

In the article, under number 2 it says “ iPhone XR and iPhone SE (1st generation) don't support Live Wallpaper.” I just bought the 2nd generation iPhone SE and the live wallpaper doesn’t work. My iOS is 13.6. When are they bringing the live wallpapers back? It’s really annoying that I can’t use the live wallpapers from my other iPhone anymore. I don’t see why they felt the need to take that out when the phones still have the capability to use them. The fact that the article mentions 1st generation makes it seem like they’ll bring it back in a future update for the 2nd gen. Is this true?
