Can’t delete birthday event from calendar

Hello, I am trying to delete some unwanted birthdays from my calendar but there are few that can’t be deleted. For instance, the source of the birthday is “contacts” but when open the contact card there is not a birthday record. Even if I delete the contact (which is not what I want to do), the birthday event remains.

Birthdays added to existing contacts not showing up in calendar I'm having an issue with my 15 Pro Max on iOS 17.0.2-I'm adding birthdays to existing contacts and they're not showing up in my (native) Calendar App. But I pulled up my iPad that's still running iOS 14.3 and I see the birthdays in the Calendar app! All events are synced, I forced closed the apps, powered off/on, hard reset, still nothing.

Removing incorrect birthday event from calendar when it doesn't appear in contacts Hi I have an incorrect birthdate showing up on my Apple Calendar that I can't delete or edit. What I mean is that on a particular day this person's birthday shows up as two events. On my calendar, it reads "XXX's 49th Birthday" and also "XXX's 50th birthday". The 50th is the correct one and the one that is connected to the birth date for that person in Contacts. When I click on the 49th birthday event and click "show in contacts", it takes me to that person's card in Contacts with the correct birth date. This is only happening on my Mac. On my iPhone calendar there is only the correct birthday event showing up. I am not importing/subscribing to any calendar where the incorrect date could be imported from as far as I can tell (plus the second event should show up in my iPhone calendar too which it doesn't). Hi philipposfromnicosia,

We understand you are unable to delete some birthdays from your calendar.

Can we ask, do you subscribe to any other calendars such as Facebook calendars?

You can check by going to: Settings > Calendar > Accounts.

If so, you can remove this to remove any unwanted birthday events.
