I tried to make room in my iCloud storage because it was getting full so I deleted my documents in iCloud. Now the documents are deleted from my computer as well. I thought this was separate. I guess not? How do I get these documents back on my desktop?
ICloud is a sync service. This means that if you delete a file in icloud, it will be deleted on your mac too. Go to icloud.com (the website), go to icloud drive an click at the bottom of the page on ‘recently deleted’
