Deleting blank cells in Numbers

In a large spreadsheet how can blank cells be deleted and data moved up or across to have uninterrupted data ?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Excel on iPad Pro I want to select and delete just the blank cells that are scattered among cells with data, so that all the data is nicely compacted. On my windows laptop, I would just hit F5 and Go To, Special, tick the blanks box and click delete. A dropdown box appeared so I could choose to move the cells with data up. I can’t find anywhere how to do this on my iPad. Please help!
