How do I connect a Samsung tv to my iPhone.
When trying to connect my iPhone to my tv, I am asked to write the onscreen code.
where do I find the code or is there another way to do it?

Hi Elhanan Keret,
If you mean you are trying to AirPlay to the TV, using the built in airplay feature (assuming your TV has it), the code should pop up on the TV screen, and then you just enter that into your phone. Here is a Samsung support document in regards to AirPlaying to their TVs.

Here is a link provided by Apple as to how to use airplay with an Apple TV as well as the third party TVs including the Samsung TV.

If you want to avoid the wireless connection issues completely and just use the old fashioned wired method, you can also purchase this Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter (HDMI) and just plug the HDMI cable into the adapter, and plug the other end of the adapter into your iPhone.

Note that assuming your TV supports it or you are using an Apple TV plugged into your Samsung TV, you should not need the adapter to stream content to the TV. The adapter is just a straightforward approach that can be less (or more) tedious depending on your setup.
I hope this helps.

Hi Elhanan Keret,
For the TV in question, are you trying to connect it wirelessly via airplay? or are you trying to connect to it through a third party app such as YouTube?
