So I’m in a family plan with my friend Jose and lately he’s been getting these pop ups that “share verification code with Raul (me) so he can sign in but I haven’t try logging in with another device so am I getting hacked?Or am I safe with 2FA enable

Somebody is logging on with my apple id, Hi There Every time I attempt to get a verification code my cell phone tells me someone is trying to log in from a different area. Therefore I got a manual verification code from my settings and changed my password online in the cloud. I logged out all devices. My apple id being used by someone in Laurel, NJ When I try to enter my apple ID, it says they will send me a verification code. Then I get a message that says my apple id is being used by someone in Laurel NJ. I'm not in NJ, I have to say "allow" in order to get to the next screen that has my verification code. Is there any way to stop this message about NJ every time I enter my Apple ID?
