Keyboard Backlight for "O" key stuck on full brightness

My MacBook Pro keyboard has a backlight issue. On the "o" key, it is constantly lit fully, even when the other keys are dimmed. The only time the key returns to the same brightness as the other keys is when another key is pressed, or the shift key is held. I have tried resetting the SMC several times to no avail. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

You do not say what exact Mac this is...

Continued Keyboard issue you can try rebooting or resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

For clarity's sake, my MacBook is a 2018 15" MacBook Pro. I have tried resetting the NVRAM/PRAM twice, and it has still not solved my issue. I think the next step may be to take it into the Genius Bar to get them to take a look...
