My left AirPod won’t work.

Ok so I was listening to Music earlier and one of my AirPods dropped out of my ears and it after that it stopped working. And I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my AirPods but the left AirPod still doesn’t work. I even updated my phone and it still isn’t working. I don’t know if it works because when I open the case it tells me that the left AirPod is charging. When I take the right AirPod out it tells me the percentage of the AirPod but when I take out the left AirPod it doesn’t tell me the percent. But the left AirPod still won’t connect to my phone.
