"Date Modified" not appearing in Finder when uploading and downloading

Hello,

I've recently noticed a change wherein I can't see "Date Modified" in the Finder window (list view) when uploading and downloading files through web browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome). This option still appears in the normal Finder window, just not when I am adding an attachment or whatnot. There is an option to group items by "date modified" but it doesn't show them as a list then (only past day, 30 days, and whatnot). This is a frustrating change that makes it hard for me to manage my files and folders because I have often used "date modified" to help find items in folders with lots of files.

Is the change intentional? Is there anything I can do to restore things so that I can list files by "date modified" while uploading or downloading them?

I am running Mojave on 2016 Macbook Air.

Thank you,

Andy

You can do a control+click or double finger tap on the bar in the upload window to show up "Date Modified".

Screen shot for info. Hope it helps.
