Keyboard/mouse connected to Thunderbolt3 docking station can't wake up windows 10 from sleep in bootcamp
I have a 2019 16'' macbook pro installed with windows 10 on bootcamp.
i also have a kensington sd4900p docking station, like below. everything working fine. but the dock is a USB-C one which only provide 10Gbps. so I switched to a thunderbolt 3 docking station caldigit ts3 plus to get better bandwidth to support more devices, also link listed below.
the new thunderbolt 3 docking station working perfectly in MACOS, waking the MBP from sleep every time. but in windows it works ok before the windows system goes to sleep, but once windows goes to sleep, the keyboard/mouse connected to the dock can't wake up windows. While with my old USB-C dock, waking up windows with the exact same keyboard/mouse is perfectly fine.
it would be most welcome if anyone have the knowledge to share. thanks in advance.
BTW, I've been googling around for this issue, and tried different approach by disable usb selective suspend, allow the keyboard waking up the system(which was set like that from beginning), none of them works. Also called apple support....doesn't help feel like there is no multiple layer of support from apple you could talk to, the agents are the only group you could get connection, they won't be able to escalate your ticket for further help even though they couldn't solve it. Only difference i could think of is that old one USB-C, new one thunderbolt 3.
some of the windows discussion post identified some security setting change in BIOS about thunderbolt could help, but there is no BIOS in bootcamp....
Thanks again!
