Restrictions

Hello,

my grandmother somehow managed to put a restriction on her phone that blocks her ability to update her apps. It’s a different 4-digit code than her login access. We’ve gone to multiple stores, talked to multiple store associates and nothing. We got her a new phone today but the issue transferred because it’s attached to her iCloud. How can I fix this?! Help!

If you can't remember a restrictions passcode that you set on a previous version of iOS IiOS 12 or lower), or you forgot your Screen Time passcode, then you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to ➔ How to remove the passcode. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode so DO NOT restore from a back up.
