Why can't I resize the Google Chrome window?
After restarting my mac the bottom of the Chrome window is way below the view of the screen so I can't change its height. I've tried 'alt + shift + click' dragging the sides of the window but that doesn't work. I've also tried 'Window > Zoom' but that only fits it to screen, and it can't get any smaller.

We understand from your post that you are not able to resize the Chrome window. With Chrome open, click View from the menu in the upper left corner of your Mac. Then see if it says Enter Full Screen or Exit Full Screen. If it says Exit Full Screen, click that and it should then allow you to adjust the size of the Chrome window.
