Order hasn't processed after over a week since order

I ordered an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) over a week ago from the online store. It's still sitting in the "processing" status, I haven't been charged yet, and Apple Support hasn't been much of a help explaining why exactly it's taking so long. I've seen people saying it's taken up to 4 days to be charged for their order, but haven't seen anyone having the same issue. I completely understand the delayed shipping times on the orders themselves, but am I just not going to be charged until it ships (which is basically almost another month)?

I ordered the same two things on the 27th of June. It did tell me it would take 3-4 weeks to be delivered. It will be 4 weeks in 2 days and i was told it would ship today but now their story is changing and they are saying it wont ship till possibly the 29th. Apple support has done nothing but tell me they "are doing everything they can to get to it me" when honestly i lost hope. I received the apple pen a week and a half after ordering it. Almost a month later...no ipad

You do realize that the pandemic has caused all sorts of supply/shipping/manufacturing shortages? Things are not how they used to be - we are living in a different world.


There is nothing you or I or anyone can do about it - everyday life will be difficult until the virus decides to give up and go away. At least, we are still around to be on these forums.......
