(Repost) How may I unhide apps in iOS/iPadOS 13

I have an app that is downloaded, running, and receives updates when available. However, it is “Hidden” from my “Purchased” list. Previous answers to posted questions like this—including responses labeled “Apple Support”—have stated that I may not “Unhide” apps, only re-download. However, when I go to the App Store, under My Account, at Hidden Purchases, the explicit word “Unhide” is used. Of course, I may download from the Hidden list, but that doesn’t “Unhide” the app. It merely downloads the app: a significant distinction. Does Apple have a wording problem on the App Store? Or is “Unhide” (which USED TO be available in laptop iTunes) gone forever and ever world without end? A sad state of affairs.
