How do i unpair my new iphone from my ipad and remove the pictures that were transfered from the phone to the ipad ?

How to transfer photos to another iPhone? I have a phone from 9 years ago. I want the pictures off of it. Every time I got a new phone, I set it up as a "new phone". I never transferred my stuff over. The phone should be backed up on the phone. I don't know the passcode and it is disabled. If I restore the phone to erase the passcode, and then restore the phone with my apple ID, is it going to restore the phone from my current iCloud stuff, or what was on the actual phone. Is there a way to access the pictures? I have the same apple ID on both phones. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I used to have an iPhone XR and I had to trade it in for my iPhone 13 it says I backed up my last saved pictures on that phone but it never did I lost so many pictures is there a way I can get them back not having the phone? I'm not following what you mean by unpair your iPhone from your iPad as the two aren't connected except by the Apple ID you used to login to them. If you remove the photos from either device, it will be removed from all devices as that's simply how iCloud works or was designed, i.e. it syncs your data across all of your devices.
