Iphone X stuck in a boot loop
It all started when i dropped my phone in the pool. I was gonna change a song, and i accidentally dropped my phone in the water. It was in there for maybe 2 seconds before i got it out. Once i got it out of the pool it shut down. I thought it shut down as a safety mechanism. Couple minutes later it turns back on. After using it for a couple more minutes it decided to shut down on me again.
Trying to turn it back on, it got stuck in a boot loop. This threw me back to the jailbreak days. Usually the best way to fix a boot loop is to just restore the phone to factory settings. I connected the phone to iTunes and tried restoring/updating it. The restore procedure was a success, however the phone is still stuck in a boot loop.
Everything I've done with the phone has resulted in a boot loop. Restoring it to factory settings via iTunes failed, vol + vol- hold power didn't work either. Charging it doesn't help.
Not sure how this can just happen to the X especially because apple claims its water resistant up to 3 ft deep for 30 minutes. Sadly i didn't have a back up of the phone so I lost all my data and I have to go back using my old iPhone 6. I remember a couple years when the 6 was really quick, now its turning into a fossil.
If anyone has any suggestions, im open to them. I'm not sure if there is a warranty on it, maybe if it comes included wit At&t. And i don't want to buy a new phone rn.
