Macbook Pro Retina Display

I have Macbook Pro with touch pad and retina display. I am proud of using Macbook and it is so convient to work with.

Unfortunately, About 1 year back the display failed (Just after the expiry of Warranty) and iCare replaced with a charge of Rs 50,000/- and refused to give me the defective one. Now, To my surprise the display again failed in the same way and iCare is charging another Rs 50,000/-. This time I have not done the replacement as I want to know whether Retina display is a failure model and why it is getting failed often. Whether software configuration is a problem. I want to highlight here one more point that I have connected temporarily an external monitor through HDMI, I find brightness function does not work.

For your information : The Macbook has been handled with utmost care and never allowed to drop or even scratches.

In general retina displays do not have a systemic problem and software would not cause issues.
