Can’t install the apple mobile device usb driver

My pc is 64-bit and so was the iTunes that I downloaded but I can’t seem to use the driver that came with it because it says that it is not compatible with my device. Does anybody knows the problem and can help me solve it? Thank you very much

Windows, Windows 10

Depending on exactly what the message is you should try to complete the driver install regardless of any warning. As noted:

If Windows warns about compatibility testing or similar tell it to continue anyway.

Are you running the Microsoft Store version of iTunes or the standalone setup.exe installer from apple.com? The driver reinstall steps are really intended for use with the latter version, the MS Store version should be self contained. Either way you can try uninstalling iTunes, and any associated components if relevant, reboot, then reinstall.
