Can I connect "lightning Male to USB Female" to "Lightning to VGA Adapter"?

Hello all,

I have an Apple Lightning to VGA Adapter which has one VGA port and a lightning female charging part.

Can I buy an Apple Lightning Male to USB Female cable and connect the lightning male through the charging port so that I can do the following

connect my ipad to a LCD monitor through the VGA port
connect USB keyboard receiver to the USB Female port to control iPad.

Hello,

Lightning can only understand data or display out. You cannot connect both an external display and a USB peripheral to an iPad with a Lightning port. Apple's Lightning to VGA adapter only supports VGA display out and iPad's charging lead.
