Will using a HomePod floor/wall stand cause a Degradation of the sound quality? If certain ones are better Let me know or should I just make a solid shelf for them? I bought these for my new home. I know I like the sound sitting on my counter. I am very impressed by the sound.
Moving them onto different surfaces alters the sound, you may or may not like how they sound. This isn’t a permanent change, they will just recalibrate. They sound better on solid wood to me, but it’s a preference

I hadn’t thought of the sound factor. I’m moving from a place that is mostly isolated. I have 22 floors Beneath me at the new place. Thank you very much, I think floor stands will be best for my situation. It will help isolate the sound from my neighbors.

I don’t see why not if that suits. If you have neighbours below, they might not like the bass thumping.
