How to play just one song or audio file only?

How do I prevent Music from automatically playing my queue when I opened an mp-3 and I only want to listen to that once, and nothing after that? In particular, I purchased a 2 second sound effect from a third party, and every time I open it, as soon as it plays, Music starts playing my music. And I have to click around to shut it down.
