Auto Appearance - Dark mode does not automatically switch back to Light mode from sleep

Hello, everyone!

I've searched the topics, and I haven't found a thread about an issue similar to mine.

Auto Appearance works fine for me when switching from Light to Dark mode. [I have it set to change together with Night Shift.]

My issue is that, when I wake my MacBook from sleep during the day, the system stays on Dark Mode and doesn't automatically switch back to Light mode upon waking.

In other words, the system doesn't sense that my Night Shift hours are over and doesn't switch back automatically to Light mode.

My workaround is to set the appearance back to Light and then to Auto again, but I was wondering if there was a way to avoid having to do this and let the system do it automatically, as designed.

Any fix for this?
