Updating iCloud Music library problems

After 5 attempts I can not get my iCloud music library to update without ITunes freezing. This is my first time using it since subscribing to Apple Music. All is well until the process of uploading my library on my pc to icloud begins, that’s when iTunes stops responding. Both my phone and iTunes on my pc are up to date and my internet connection is ample. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the main reason I chose Apple Music over Spotify.

If you have a large music library, it might take some time to upload and sync your music library across all of your devices. Could that be the problem? See the "On your PC with iTunes for Windows" section in:
