Tik tok music playing without any apps open

My IPhone XR just recently started playing what it seems like tik toks. These songs, and sometimes people talking like how they would on tik tok, will play and changed every 15-30 seconds just as if someone is watching tik tok and it’s somehow connected to my phone. (I know it’s for sure tik tok playing because one of the sounds was a girl speaking about tik tok being banned) No apps are open, it plays even when I turn off my phone. The only way to resolve it is by restarting my phone, it has happened to me about 6 times now, randomly, one time it was at 2 in the morning and it woke me up !! I have no idea how to fix it.

If your iPhone is totally turned off there is no way the sound is from your iPhone, when it is turned off it cannot run anything.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons there is so much controversy over Tik Tok. Personally, I trust Tik Tock about as far as I can pick up and throw my car. Why this app is doing this I couldn't guess. But it's an app you use at your peril. If there are settings inside the app, I'd suggest you look for something which might cause this behavior. Otherwise, as this is so NOT an Apple app, you need to contact Tik Tok and get support from them.
