iPod Nano Bluetooth

I have an old iPod Nano model mkn22LL. It has bluetooth which works well with my sound system. I have recently bought some bluetooth 5 headphones which work well with my 'phone and are listed on my iPod but won't pair.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to make them pair please?

Hello,

iPod nano does not work well with most modern Bluetooth audio devices.

Not even Apple's AirPods are compatible with iPod nano.
