i had user id linked to my ipad with a gmail address which i forgot the password to it so i set me up a new address with yahoo for my other ipad but i cant recover my password for the first ipad how do i make it past activation lock without knowing the password

The iPad is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. If this is not an option you will have to find the original receipt for the device that clearly shows the serial number. Once you have this document you will need to take this document and iPad into an Apple retail location.
i have a different apple id for my other device and when trying to sign in my ipad i cant sign in
