Apple TV 4K DVR Recording

Can someone please explain why some of my recordings that I save delete after a couple of days? I recorded something last night and it was there this morning so I turned to a live channel and went back to watch it and it was gone. Please help

DVR I can delete any and all DVR recordings....NO problem, BUT, there is one recording of the nightly news with David Murr that I absolutely can not get rid of. I can delete the shows from each night, but I can't find out how to stop his recordings? I have NO problem deleting any other shows, recordings, etc.????

Apple TV memory I am sick and tired of walking away from a show or trying to restart a movie and find out that not only does Apple not have a clue where I left off but they don't even have a record that I was watching it and I have to actually search for the movie again. What's up with this? No other streaming service has this issue.

Can you record shows like a set top box on your Apple TV? My Fetch Box just died and looking for a new tv box but I need to know if you can record TV shows on the Apple TV 4K? And can you watch fetch shows on it? Thanks!!

Cloud DVR recordings are done by your TV provider. Please contact them about any issues with their services and their apps.
