Had an issue with my email, that was solved after getting High Sierra a couple of years ago.
Know i have the same issue, i can use google mail, but the exchange server dosnt work.
I get a can't confirm password or username message.
Any way to solve this
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13
I would delete the entry in Mail->Preferences->Accounts,
then Quit Mail.
Then start Mail and enter a new entry for the same account.

Contact your Exchange administrator or corporate help desk.
Works on all other platforms. Phone, ipad and online. So must be some MacBook mail issue
