How do I switch off (NOT restart) my iPhone X without a screen?

I broke my screen today and I can't see anything on it and it's unresponsive, but my alarm keeps going off and I can't switch it off. I obviously need to switch the phone off but the only advice I can see is how to restart/reboot the phone, not switch off completely.

I cannot use the slide function, I would need to be able to switch the phone off without it switching back on again. Anyone able to advise?

iPhone X, iOS 13

I don't think there is a way to turn it off without a functional screen.

But if you restore it(wipe everything) the alarms will stop at least. and you can do that without a working screen.
