iMovie transfer to pc

PC doesn’t find my IMOVIE even it is in 2 places IMovie folder, download and photo

only DCIM is recognized

several people have same issue per YouTube they using some app but didn’t work for me

ssveral hours wasted

Correct. You can only directly access the DCIM folder on an iOS device from a PC.


If you need to get a movie you made in the iMovie application out of an iOS device, then you need to use a 3rd party app:

Transfer music, messages and Files from iPhone to Mac or PC with iExplore - Macroplant.com


You cannot transfer the actual iMovie app from an iOS device to a PC.


You may be able to use iTunes to extract the file if its in an App that shares its files through iTunes, see here: Use iTunes to share files between your computer and your iOS or iPadOS device - Apple Support

Thanks, you are right but somehow I uploaded to folder photos and then managed to open DCIM in PC and copy paste in PC video folder Now I can open from P C and watch it is regrettable as IPHONE. developer Could easily make easier but they want ICLOUD and Mac to be used

people use multiple systems May be Apple get wiser some day
