Can’t log onto mail app

Hi. Yesterday my iPad’s email wasn’t updating messages, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the Mail app. Now it won’t let me access my email. Every time I give my email and password, I’m taken back to the “Welcome to Mail” menu (where all the email options are located). I’ve already tired changing my password and it didn’t help.


any ideas? My iPhone is fine, btw.

Have you tried adding your account in Settings > Passwords & Accounts?
