MacBook Air keyboard not typing correctly

All of a sudden my keyboard is typing additional letters with certain keys...for instance when I type “O” an “I” is added and when I type “L” a “K” is added. My arrow keys aren’t functioning properly either. This makes it impossible for me to log back into my laptop.

Is there a hard reset for the keyboard?

MacBook Air keyboard has started to double-type letters My MacBook Air keyboard has all of a sudden started to double-type the letters “a” and “o.” I have updated the laptop and also tried cleaning the keys but the problem persists. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Macbook Air keyboard My new MacBook keyboard is not working well, for example i do an exclamation point it does another key instead, same thing with a lot of other keys. How can i fix this

Try using an external USB keyboard. If an external keyboard works, then the built-in keyboard is defective and needs to be replaced.
