iWatch Series 4 Cellular Battery Drain

Alright guys and gals. I'm here begging for your help.

I have an Apple Watch Series 4 with GPS + Cellular from Verizon. It has incredible battery drain. I put it on around 5:50 AM and it's dead by noon every single day.

Here is what I have attempted so far:

  1. Update to latest patch
  2. Let it completely drain then fully charge
  3. Factory reset with backup
  4. Factory reset without backup
  5. Unpair and pair again
  6. Reduce screen brightness, sound
  7. Turn off cellular
  8. Turn off WiFi
  9. Almost no applications send push notifications

As someone that literally only uses the watch to check the time I have zero idea why it's draining so fast. This has been going on for a few months now.

I do not have insurance on it through Verizon. I do not have AppleCare+. The one year was up on July 11th. I tried to get in sooner but I work 80+ hour weeks and then COVID happened. I contacted Apple a few weeks ago through chat and the representative wanted to put something on my watch to troubleshoot it but the watch was dead when I was in the chat with no way to charge it. I cannot for the life of me seem to find where I found that at.

Fun fact: I am also a victim of the iPhone X ghost screen recall (which I have yet had time to fix) AND the butterfly keyboard debacle. Just between my watch and iPhone I have $1500 of Apple products where neither one lasted a year without issue. If I start to think about my Macbook again I might go into cardiac arrest. Can someone, anyone, please help me before I dump these Apple products in the garbage?

Update: I threw the watch in the trash. I’m going to Verizon to buy an Android today. I’m not wasting anymore time on this junk.
