I'm trying to convert my iTunes music to my portable usb drive I'm noticing the music is under MP4 I'm pretty sure this is the reason all of the music isn't showing up in my car Can someone direct me in the right direction PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Duplicate One MP4 Item - Modify its Extension:
See if you can duplicate one item in the Library/Folder containing these files - change the extension on just one of the files to MP3. Does it now play?

See if you can duplicate one item in the Library/Folder containing these files - change the extension on just one of the files to MP3. Does it now play?
Content that comes from an Apple Music subscription is protected with DRM and cannot be converted to a new format for use elsewhere. Note the file extension is .m4p. MP4 is a video format. iTunes video purchases generally contain DRM protection too.
