Macbook Pro 2019 (16 inch) heating up near the left side ports and won't boot up

I have an MBP 2019 (16 inch) purchased last December. It worked perfectly fine until this morning. Last night I locked it, closed the lid, and put it inside the case. When I took it out in the morning it was heated up and won't start. I plugged it in but it didn't give any charging indication (sound or display).

Here's what I have tried, followed "If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support" (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204267), tried SMC reset. But no response.

The thing that most bugs me is that I kept it unplugged for a while now and everywhere of the MBP is cooled except near the left side ports and it keeps heating up.

Is there any way to stop the heating or fix it?

Very grateful for any help or tips. Thanks.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty. So, contact Apple Support and request a swap-out. Right now, there is Send-in Service, available, if no Apple Store is open.

Apple Contact Us:

--- Contact Us - Choose Locations

--- USA: 1(800)MY-APPLE

--- Proceed from there as Necessary

How Send-In Service would Work:

  1. They’d: ship you a box
  2. You’d: ship it back
  3. They’d: look at it
  4. You’d: get a new one, if approved.

NOTE:

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, calls are taking a bit linger to get through. And, that makes sense, because many are at home working out-of-the-house or are taking classes over-the-web, this they have more time on their hands to contact Apple Support. So, it might take a bit to get through to Apple Support. But, just stay on the line, and someone will be with you. :)

To Cool this Down:

To keep this cooled, place it flat atop a Laptop Cooler (get one at your local retailer), keep it power off, and don't place it in an enclosed location (i.e. in the corner or in a closet). Also, power the Laptop Cooler off of an external power source (i.e. the wall) and not the laptop itself).

Hi udeshuk,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We want to help. It sounds like you put your MacBook Pro to sleep, then stored it in a case. Now, you are unable to wake it, and notice the temperature is running high. You've already taken some great steps, and may need to allow your MacBook Pro to return to normal operating temperatures. You can learn more about acceptable operating temperatures below.

If you continue to experience issues, you'll want to Contact Apple Support for help.

Cheers!
