Does anyone know which is the official Apple recommended Malwarebytes?

It isn't in the App store. Download it directly from the developer's web site: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

Also I'm not aware of any "official" Apple recommendation even though I do know some Apple Support employees and many volunteers here, including myself, recommend it in certain situations.

Officially, Apple doesn't recommend any third party apps. That said, Apple's phone support will recommend using MalwareBytes, and they use it in the Apple Stores.
