Bluetooth mouse that works on ipad air ios 12.4.8?

Seems like all the bluetooth mouses require os 13 or above. Anyone have one working on OS 12.4.8? I tried connecting through Accessibility>AssistiveTouch but "Pointers" wasn't an option either.

Yup,

Mouse/trackpad support is only part of iPadOS.

If your iPad is too old to support iPadOS, there is no mouse/trackpad support for your device.

You will need to purchase a newer, new or new, refurbished iPad to take advantage of the mouse/trackpad support features of iPadOS.

Hello,

External pointer support requires iPadOS 13 or newer. This functionality is not available on iOS 12 or older.
