Trying to pair new iwatch keeps unpairing

when Pairing new I watch 3 with iPhone 6 Plus it keeps unpairing and says iPhone needs update. Currently 12.8.4 and says up to date

I have an iWatch series 1 won't pair and update to Iphone XR I have an iWatch series 1. I am trying to pair it with my iPhone XR. When it's pairing, it says the watch needs a software update, but when its checking, it comes back and says it can't update because my phone requires an update, it does not though, so it wont move forward. Trying to pair iwatch 3 to iPhone 8, stuck on checking for updates for over 12 hours I purchased iwatch 3 from a friend, watch has been unpaired and been reset to factory settings. Attempting to pair to my iPhone 8 and it has been checking for updates on the watch for over 12 hours. Had to disconnect this morning to take my phone to work with me. Any suggestions?

iWatch 5 will not pair with iPhone 6 I have updated my iPhone 6 with iOS 12.4.3 and am trying to pair my new iwatch 5. When doing so, the MyWatch app will not pair asking for an iOS update which I have already completed.

If your watch has watchOS6 then you need a phone with ios13,which is an iphone 6s or higher,your 6 plus will only update to ios12.
